Mackay Street Chaplaincy - Combined Mackay Churches Care for the Community:
A real and practical way that the Mackay Churches are caring for the Mackay community,
being the hands, feet and heart of Jesus on the streets

Chaplains are in high demand, therefore we are always keen for more people to sign up as street chaplains, the next training will be 18th and 19th of May.

Chaplains give cups of water, offer lolly-pops and assist with keeping all safe and happy.
HOW TO BECOME A STREET CHAPLAIN:
Attend Training Weekend and monthly meetings, hold a Blue Card, Hold a First Aid Certificate.
Street Chaplains are many and varied in age, personalities and gifts, but all enjoy smiling and chatting to people on the street and supporting each other in an endeavour that works in harmony with local Police and Security personal.
